It was a hot one today, legs felt heavy. My knee is aching a bit on runs recently. Can anyone recommend good strengthening exercises?

NHS Strength and Flex... we even have a forum here healthunlocked.com/strength... it did wonders for my knees and is a great place to start.

I delayed my longest run of the week until today as it was supposed to be cooler... do these weather forecasters just make it up? Great job getting it done today.

These are great ..many of us use or used them... also do visit the Strength and Flex site linked.

Hopefully you are stretching well after each run and have begun to up some rest day stamina and strength exercises too!
