Like many others on here, was buoyed up after W5R3, then found W6R1 and 2 absolute pigs - ran W6R2 twice and still felt knackered. Didn't believe I'd ever be able to run for 25 mins (59 years old and haven't run since school). Well chuffed!

So you should be chuffed, it's amazing what you can do when you put the effort in 😊😊

Glad that you enjoyed your run today Woodsman19, after run 3 of week 5 people do find runs 1 and 2 of week 6 hard, after you have ran the 25 minutes of run 3 of week 6 you are now OFFICIALLY a RUNNER, congratulations, onwards and upwards to week 7. 😊

I hated those two runs too but have loved the longer distances since, good luck with the rest of your C25K

Welcome to the forum, and thanks for highlighting the week 6 runs to others reading... they’re certainly ones where slow and steady is the key.
Also thanks for coming sharing this particular moment with us... you got this now... enjoy closing this plan out.
