So I had the app on my phone for about a year...my excuse no time. Well i got plenty of that now!

So proud that I got to the end of week 2, not sure how I will run for 3 whole minutes next week. I run wed, friday and sunday then have a few days off runnign but have started yoga to do in between and an easy bedtime yoga for the days i run to help stretch out.

By putting one foot in front of the other just like you’ve been doing, one run at a time, you can do it 🙂

Welcome to the forum and well done on getting started.

This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

and includes advice on minimising impact, stretching after every run, hydration and strengthening exercises, all of which will help.

Enjoy your journey.

Same here with having the app on my phone for ages! I'm doing Wk 7 R3 this morning, and if I can do it, you can too! The 20 minute run was a huge leap, I felt, but there are so many people on this forum who can prove that the system works. Good luck!!!

Well done! Honestly, I do think it is the getting started that is the hardest bit.

Well done for starting and telling us all. We’re all behind you to help if you doubt yourself (we all did) and cheer when you achieve (you will, just like us!). Remember we’ve tried out the system for you and it’s complete magic!! 🎩 🐇 😮 Good luck

Really well done!

Week 1 is by far the hardest of the program.

Week 2 is easier but not much.

BUT you'll be surprised how quickly you recover from your wk 3 runs.

The running may not feel easy, and you may need a bit of mental perseverance. But you'll know how far you've come once you finish that first run!

Good luck and let us know how you get on

Thanks, yes i am supprised about week three. Just wondering if i should repeat it or at least redo one run as I didnt manage to run 3 full minutes everytime only for 1 run. 90 seconds parts fine no probs but then on the 3 minute buts i ran for 2 minutes walked for 10 to 16 seconds then ran again.
