I just completed week one. Three runs I thought I could never do. Woke this morning and it's raining. Good enough excuse not to go. But I went and it was eventful. Lots of dog walkers and I am scared of big dogs! One wanted to run with me but I think the owner could see how worried I was about that! I counted down each run and before I knew it I was at the half way point. I didn't want to run today but I did anyway
I nearly didn't run this morning!: I just... - Couch to 5K

I nearly didn't run this morning!

Likewise when I saw it was raining but just got back and so glad I did it too. Look forward to catching up with you at the end of the week 2 - good luck!

Embrace the rain! Rain is a runner’s friend!
Nice running in the rain. It makes me happy. Well done on your achievement!

Fabulous well done. Going when your brain is trying to talk you out of it is a big win😁
That’s impressive. I’m still at the reading about it and preparing for it but was put off by the rain as I had intended starting today. Everyone who posts is so inspirational. I’m going to follow your (and others) journey. No pressure!! 😁😁

Well done on getting out there! Did my first run in the rain yesterday, W3 R1, & to be honest I quite enjoyed the cooler temperatures, though as you say, it was an effort to get myself out of the door to begin with. Once I did it was ok, though, and probably helped with the W3 3 minute runs!

Which is exactly why you’re brilliant and determined! Very well done, and I hope you feel very proud of yourself! 😀😀😀👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Good for you for going. I was lucky, no rain just plenty of dog walkers lol keep up the good work👍🏻
