W9R1 done, 30 minutes running in the bag!

Well this is what I came for n I’m proud to say I did it, I ran for 30 minutes! πŸ˜ƒ

It went pretty well I have to say. I’m glad it’s a cooler day although I missed the sunshine. No mini dragonflies today so that was a bonus!

I did find though that when Jo Whiley announced that time was up n I could stop running it took a good few yards before the message got through to my legs πŸ˜‚. Does anyone else find that it’s hard to actually stop running?

Strangely enough I also found when I was running for 30 minutes it was sometimes difficult to stop. Altogether there are 9/30 minute runs, 3 in the last official week of C25K and a further 6/30 minute consolidation runs spread over around 3 weeks, not long now until you graduate, good luck. πŸ‘ πŸƒ

Thanks! I’m looking forward now to seeing what improvements happen during consolidation. I’m running two trackers now, one for the whole thing and one for just the run so I can see any improvements in pace and distance. Roll on graduation!

Fabulous SJR. 2 more runs and you’ve done it once already so no doubts, no gremlins. I have started to dust off the podium getting ready for your Grad run. So. This is the week. Everything comes together and you have so got this. Look how far you have come. 2 more runs. Well done. πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸƒπŸΌβ€β™€οΈπŸƒπŸΌβ€β™€οΈπŸƒπŸΌβ€β™€οΈπŸ˜€πŸ˜€πŸ˜€

Brilliant Jill. Very well done. Just two more of the same and you're a graduate. And what a lovely place to run xx

Thanks! The photos are always of the best bits lol. One day I’ll post a pic of the building site at the end of my route, creeping inexorably nearer πŸ˜• xx

Well done my lovely ! 30 minutes - amazing and what a stunning place to do your run...just love the outdoors. To answer your question no I don’t find it hard to stop running πŸ˜‚πŸƒβ€β™€οΈπŸ˜… but I know what you mean !

Thanks! Yeah it’s not bad but it looks better in photos than real life lol, the river and the ponds are nice but the rest is just scrubland. It’s much nicer across the river but I’ve not run there yet

Well done. And yes it takes me quite a few steps to transition from run to brisk walk. In danger of falling over otherwise !!

Thanks! Glad it’s not just me then. I hadn’t thought about the falling over potential πŸ˜‚

Fantastic! You know you can sail through to graduation now.

I can't say I find it hard to stop but my legs do feel a bit weird for a short while when I stop.

Enjoy your last couple of runs and then come on up to the podium. :)

Thanks, I will do 😁. It’s actually more like there’s a delay in the message getting to my legs lol. I hear Jo say I can stop but my legs just keep going for a bit πŸ˜‚
