In the bag!

Well I’ve just graduated! I’m so happy! Today’s run was tough though. Possibly because I also picked up a new bike and had been out on that earlier in the day so legs were a little tired. But nonetheless I did it! There was no way I was going to stop - I’d come this far! And that is in no small way thanks to this forum. From things such as tips-I loovvvee my Brooks adrenalines! They made such a big difference to my running, they are soo stable and ‘springy!’ My foot bones are beginning to protrude through the ball of my foot due to arthritis so they have made the difference between being able to complete this course and not! Although I have to say when I run it doesn’t hurt as much as it does when I walk! I think it’s because I land more on the middle of my foot (something else I’ve learned to do since being on the forum!) Anyway, another runner pops off the C25K production line! One who is healthier, lighter and more toned than they were 9 1/2 weeks ago! I have more energy and vitality than before and feel much better than I did maybe 10 years ago - and I’m almost at the big 5-0 point in my life! So thank you everyone for all the advice and encouragement, it certainly made such a difference to my journey! I intend to continue with the running and make it a part of my life going forward. And good luck to all those on this journey, you’re in for such a good ride!.... well...run!
