Yoga say what?!

Quite interested in trying some yoga stretches.

Can you guys offer any guides to a newb?

Any names of stretches I can look up?

I’d love to know what you guys know.

My muscles get so tight and it seems to be causing me other issues.

Thanks all.

Yep. Using the nhs stretches. My left leg has always been super tight. It’s just really come to light with the running. I figure that yoga type stretches is supposed to turn people in to jelly. I’m more like a block of concrete at the moment! 😂

If you are new to yoga it is good to go to some classes first to learn good posture/form etc. Never over stretch with yoga, always know your limits 👍🏼

My limit is probably turning up then running off before I go in! 😂😂 I didn’t even realise you could over stretch 😬

Well if you do over stretch, you will definitely know! When folk see a yogi being so supple they fail to recognise the yogi has trained for years to get to that point. The new comer then often tends to emulate the yogi, its like trying to do a Mo Farrar speed 10k as their first run. Both such attempts can lead to injury.

Take it slow and steady, and enjoy!
