Hi all, I haven’t posted for a while, I’ve been happily getting along with the programme. Wk7 was my best week by far 😊, I really enjoyed it..but wk8??!! Oh my word I found it hard physically and mentally. I kept slow and steady but still felt out of breath after 10 mins or so and spent most of the 3 runs thinking I wasn’t going to finish, and talking myself out of going back home...I’ve completed it but I can’t imagine getting through wk9. I feel quite nervous about it. Do you think it’s worth repeating wk8? 🤔

Nope! You can run 28, you can run 30!
You’ve struggled... but you’ve completed them. Each run that you struggled in has made you stronger and fitter... you can run 30. Yes, it could be tough like the week you just had... but one day, pretty soon, 30 minutes won’t be tough, it’ll be an easy run. You’ve made such amazing progress form where you were at that first start line... just imagine what you can do in a few more months.
What’s the worst that happens if you start a 30 minute run? You stop at 28? 29... so either better or the same as what you just do... or... you could just run 30, and feel the emotion that it brings, knowing that you’ve got that goal. Go do it.

I did it!!!!!! Thank you for your positive words they really helped me to set off with a positive attitude. I kept reminding myself I could do it and I actually did it! 😁🙌🏼
