Well 6th ‘run’ done.......blimey that was hard work. I cannot imagine doing 3 minutes of running at the moment. Anyways I’ll have a go. The image I have of me gracefully gliding along like a gazelle has morphed into a reality of a lame hippo that has lung problems ! 😁🏃🏼‍♀️

🤣 maybe you’re running too fast? The trick for me was learning that my run could be slower than my brisk walk! So learn to slow down as the durations increase. I do the Japanese slow jogging technique (there’s a film on youtube) it’s a low impact style of running and suits me perfectly. I still run this way - and about to try my first 45 min run! I thought I’d die on W1R1!! So don’t be disheartened - you too can do this. Embrace the 🐌!

Just finished mine as well - I really get the gazelle bit. I keep waiting for reports of earth tremors in my area coinciding with the times I’m out ‘running’! I’ll fall behind you for W3 as I’ve got family things on for a few days but I’ll look forward to seeing how you get on with it!

Thank you for the lame hippo comment, you had me giggling.

I'm on week 5 at the moment, and honestly, I'm starting to enjoy this. I think your mentality changes a little as you progress about what you can and can't do so keep it up. Don't let your head run faster than your feet, slow a little and your lungs will tell you if you're going too fast

Not what you're looking for?
