Shocked but amazed

Just been out to run week 5 run 2, thought I was running 5 mins (so windy outside hard to hear my phone) after I’d ran I’m told well done you’ve just ran 8 mins!! Gobsmacked but was shocked again thinking I’d most likely have a 5 min run to follow it and he says just one more 8 min run to do lol, shocked but I actually done it. Nervously looking forward to run 3 (20 mins run!!)

Thank you, I’ve never been a runner and started this as my son wanted to go running, now I go and he’s makes an excuse lol, really enjoying how it makes me feel and I’m determined to be able to run my first 5k Race for Life in July 🤞🏻

Glad you enjoyed your run today ChiMum, onwards and upwards to run 3 of week 5, I know that you you can run those 20 minutes slow and steady 🏃, you don't need to be nervous about it. 😊.

Great job... don’t worry about that 20 minutes, it’s a shorter cardio workout than the one you just did... keep the pace down and get into that happy rhythm.
