I did my final run tonight and graduated and I can't believe I completed it. I am shocked and so happy.
I am a slow plodder (my ave pace is only 8:03 min/km) and on my 2nd run of week 9 I felt I had more in the tank and ran for 35 mins. Tonight I decided to see how I felt at 30 mins and keep going til I hit the 5k. I did it in 40 mins! I didn't feel exhausted after and my recovery now is so much quicker than it was at the start. This programme is amazing and I still can't quite fathom how an app on my phone has got my fat, 44 year old body to run 5k and for 40 mins non stop.
This forum has helped to explain and motivate and I don't want to stop now!
