Yipppeeeee!

I have just completed the W6R3 25 minute run and cannot really believe I have done it as running has never ever been on my radar until I started the C25K. It was even more challenging today because until this run I had been using Ipod downloads. Today I thought I would use my mobile Samsung Galaxy J3 to avoid carrying the Ipod too...........

For some reason I could only hear Laura's voice updating me on how much longer I had to run, my breathing (!) and unfortunately NO music to keep me going aaaagh! Rather than stopping to try and rectify whatever was at fault with my phone I kept on going and completed the run - so this result is all the more sweet as previously I have found the music motivational and helpful. Week 7 here I come ........ now where have I put my Ipod?

PS I am a technophobe - any ideas on how to get the music to play on my phone? S.

Great running.

Start the music and then launch the app, it doesn’t drive music by itself... the stuff in the podcast was part of the recording, with the app you can choose your own music.

Love the profile... I’m sure the running shoes will squeeze into the panniers!

Congratulations SmashedPotato, you are now a officially a runner, if you want technophobe music, perhaps Spotify has a lot of that.

Well done!! 👏👏👏👏👏 So good to hear about people getting through it, it’s inspiring ☺️

I use the Spotify app for the music.

Congratulations on completing the run! And well done! Like UNM said I play music from another app which I start before I launch C25K. Good luck with your next run xx

Fantastic, 25 minutes was the big one for me. I felt like a proper runner for the first time. Glad other people have music help, I run without any. I tried it early on, but got in an almighty tangle, and then realised that I actually prefer it without!

Brill! I completed the same run today too! It’s so annoying when the tech plays up but well done for not getting distracted and carrying on

Well done my next session is wk 6 run 3

I only get Laura voice on my huwawi mobile

Anyone know how to get music too. I find quietness not helping and focus on a tree or a fence as my target before I look at my phone to see how much more I need to run

Have you tried the Spotify app where you can save playlists of your favourite music and have that playing in conjunction with C25K app too whilst your running. I couldn’t run without music as the quietness would not help me at all.

Well done on completing the run ! I play my music on Spotify (app) on my phone then open the c25k app and so I have constant music when Jo has finished talking...plus I find that the music spurs me on to keep going. Good luck for your next run. I have just finished Wk6R2 this morning 🏃‍♀️

The free version just includes a few short adverts which you have to listen to etc but it’s fine, only thing you do require is your mobile data to be on for your phone. You should be able to just download the app straight to your phone. It’s very easy but you can always check how to do it through google if you get stuck.

I use Rock My Run which is free. Start it up before the One you app. Good luck. You do need data on for RMR

Alternatively download the pod cast to your phone. That's what I used up until when I was bored of the pod cast music. Then used One You and Rock My Run
