Yayyyy! I completed week 1 and I'm still standing and not feeling at all bad.
Bit of a disaster on this run today as I'd forgotten to check my phone battery and it was low so I had a little interruption to tell me my battery was low on the 2nd run then the battery went completely just as the final run stated but I carried on and estimated where the 60 second might be and done a couple more strides just to be sure. The walk back is probably about 9 minutes so I'm happy that I covered the session fully, twas a tad lonely without the music though.
Thrilled today..... onward and upward. Not thinking about next week yet. I'm going to enjoy my rest day and have faith in the support I've been getting from this community. Thank you all x π

Well done, Sloth. Week 2 is certainly doable now. The weeks go so quickly and you'll soon be looking back on week 1 wondering what all the fuss was about. Enjoy your rest day. I have a neglected garden full of nettles and brambles, so that's my rest day sorted. Still, I'm running free-range from now on. Not sure how I'll cope without Laura cajoling me along. Keep us posted on your progress.
Just off for a long walk now. Hopefully I'll keep up with the three 30 minute jogplods a week. But I won't beat myself up if I feel like doing more or less. Right, park, here I come.
