Yayyyy! I completed week 1 and I'm still standing and not feeling at all bad.

Bit of a disaster on this run today as I'd forgotten to check my phone battery and it was low so I had a little interruption to tell me my battery was low on the 2nd run then the battery went completely just as the final run stated but I carried on and estimated where the 60 second might be and done a couple more strides just to be sure. The walk back is probably about 9 minutes so I'm happy that I covered the session fully, twas a tad lonely without the music though.

Thrilled today..... onward and upward. Not thinking about next week yet. I'm going to enjoy my rest day and have faith in the support I've been getting from this community. Thank you all x ๐Ÿ˜Š

  • Well done! I usually charged battery after every run regardless...๐Ÿ˜Š

  • Well done you๐Ÿ‘ You'll be hooked before you know it. Make sure you are fully charged for next week. Keep on running ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿƒ

  • Yes I will now

  • Well done, Sloth. Week 2 is certainly doable now. The weeks go so quickly and you'll soon be looking back on week 1 wondering what all the fuss was about. Enjoy your rest day. I have a neglected garden full of nettles and brambles, so that's my rest day sorted. Still, I'm running free-range from now on. Not sure how I'll cope without Laura cajoling me along. Keep us posted on your progress. :-)

  • Thank you yes I don't know what happens after week 9. What do you do? Hope the nettles aren't too Savage ๐Ÿ˜Š

  • Only one got me, but I got him back!

Just off for a long walk now. Hopefully I'll keep up with the three 30 minute jogplods a week. But I won't beat myself up if I feel like doing more or less. Right, park, here I come.

  • 'Jogplods' ๐Ÿ˜‚ Describes what I do perfectly!!

  • Brilliant, very well done :)

    Onwards and upwards...:)

  • Well done, i'd be lost without Laura spurring me on!

  • I did feel very alone but that's a lesson learned ๐Ÿ˜Š
