I can’t believe I’ve managed to run 20 mins non-stop - think this is the first time ever in my 45 years!!! I’m so pleased with myself and for the first time I think 30 mins and 5k are actually a possibility! Also managing a pace just outside 6min per km so hoping I won’t be far off 5km by the end of week 9 😁 Think I need to treat myself to some proper footwear now I’m starting to consider myself as a runner!
Week 5 done: I can’t believe I’ve managed to run... - Couch to 5K
Week 5 done

Yes go out and treat yourself you deserve it the 20 minute run is great😊

Congratulations on completing run 3 of week 5 Harleysfield, that is a milestone run with C25K. Onwards and upwards to week 6 run 1 but be careful about that run as it catches out some people with the interval walks 🚶 and runs 🏃 For most people including myself that 20 minute run is the longest run ever ran by them, it is quite an achievement. 😊
Amazing! Just completed w5r3 tonight too! Feel on such a high
Treat yourself to those new trainers and here's hoping you can get the 5k in the 30 minutes! 😀

Huge well done.. slow and steady as you head into next week... different...but you are ready for it

Great job... enjoy that well deserved trip for gait analysis! Slow and steady into week 6 and you got this.
