Week 5 done!!

Feeling pretty proud today I’ve just completed week 5! I thought I’d never do 20 minutes non stop but I did and I’m over the moon!

The first 10 was ok, but I started to fade so I slowed down just a bit and got a second wind the last 6 minutes felt good I just told myself it was just 2 more songs I focused on that and it seemed to fly by before I knew it I was in the last minute! Felt so good after!

To anyone not at week 5 yet, finding it a bit hard or thinking they won’t make the 20 minutes run You can do it!!

I’m loving this forum, just getting positive comments or seeing that others are feeling the same is comforting to know.

Good luck to everyone Happy Running 🏃‍♀️😊👍

Good to know! I've just done W4R1 so it's a relief to know you can do it.

Definitely! I never thought I’d get to week 2 let alone week 6! For me it was just slowing it down a little. Good luck 😊

the 20 mins run is my next one. after todays 8 min runs i'm really looking forward to th challenge. i'm very slow at jogging but figured slow and steady is better than running fast then failing right?

Absolutely slow and steady is definitely the way to go! Also having something else to focus on other than time is great and for me it’s music! Good luck on your next run. You can do it! 😊

How many times have I read on this forum "I never thought I would be able to do it"? It just goes to show how we underestimate ourselves. Dare I say, women especially?

Well done Mrs H, you are doing really well and I know you're going to get even better. Good that you enjoyed it, too (because it isn't always fun, let's be honest!)

Happy running and keep posting.
