Haven't been able to start my day 1, just don't know where to go, I live in the city, just can't motivate myself to go running. I can go gym anytime of the day, but I find running something I'll do if someone wants to go.
I really want to run at 6am. It's like 0030 now, have all the passion, come 6am,it's like can't be asked.
Maybe in a few days when I've got a day off, I think my excuse is that I'm just far too busy, and far too demotivated

I can`t run to save my life so good for you, as running will help you better. Have you thought by running or even walking even for 10 minutes even if it is late? I am a night hawk myself and do my walking at night....it is peaceful! Have you downloaded the couch to 5k app?It is really useful and you don`t feel like you are running or walking alone! Getting started is the biggy….I was the same and now I have been out for 7 days in a row...even for 10 mins. ( Though you are supposed to have rest days I hasten to add). Good luck
I started mine in Singapore and it was easy with light and warm weather. It’s difficult now back in the Uk as dark and cold in the mornings.
I’m using google earth to spy and measure potential routes and started using MapMyWalk to measure distance, I think it shows routes from other users but need to explore the app some more.
The goal of timed runs with parkrun May help with motivation but it depends on your goal.
Try starting with walking if you can’t face running yet. I run wherever I am. I started on the treadmill at the gym, but have run around the streets where I live and recently took my running stuff with me on holiday and ran there. Just get out and do something to make a change as this will improve your mood and make you feel more positive.
Remember why you wanted to do this in the first place.
