Bummer - I have a cold

Today was supposed to be my W6R3 but I have a cold and cough with a wheezing chest (I’m asmatic in any case) - so I feel it best not to go for a run and nail my first 25 minuter. I am so disappointed and very worried that all the hard earned fitness of the last 6 weeks will evaporate. Oh misery misery.

Taking it easy when you’re poorly is the right thing to do. Hope you feel better soon.

Thank you - I just hope my hard earned stamina won’t drop off too much. 🤞

Get well soon. You won’t lose fitness if the first two weeks of not running, so you should be just fine.

I promise it won’t. I have only managed to run three times this month due to poorly kids. 30 mins then a 25 followed by running 5k in under 38 mins. A few days won’t hurt. It was a week between two of my runs and I felt I could have run longer but didn’t want to set myself back.

Hope you feel better soon and can get back out there x
