Thanks ..thought it was just cramp a week ago but as it came back today think itā€™s strained or pulled or whatever

Sure it will sort itself out quickly but getting to the end of W8 is awesome šŸ‘

Be sure to wait until it is healed.. do some calf exercises and if it does not ease, do get it checked out !

So frustrating to be injured, isn't it? But it will heal, be patient. And blooming well done for completing Week 8!

I picked up an injury at that point on the programme too. It took 4 weeks to sort out and I did not want to go straight back to week 9.

Guess what? I as nervous but getting back to it was easier than you thought it would be.

Dropped back to week 5 and worked through from there. I did W5 runs 1&2 (not challenging enough) W6 run 3 and W7 run3 which felt right so I did all of week 8 then on to graduation.

Recovery time does not wipe out the fitness you have built up and going back gently to work out where you are able to pick up will soon see you graduating.

Hope you have a fast recovery and get back to your amazing journey as a runner soon.
