Which part did you do, Scarva towards Pontzpass? Must give it go, as everywhere else I run has hills! It’ll be good to try out something flat for a change!

Yeah scarava towards potzpass. If you go the other way and go towards tandragee football club and back its 5k. So I've been told. Pace yourself. It's totally different running on flat. The hills pace you if you know what I mean. Well that's what I've found. You from around Scarva?

Loughbrickland. I used Whytes Estate to do most of my C25K (1.8m lap) over the summer. Since then I've carried on up to 10k, but everywhere I run there's hills and I'd like a wee change :) Have you done any Park Runs? I ran my third at Castlewellan last weekend, which is fairly flat compared to what I'm used to!

Apparently the outlet is good. Few laps around the outer part of it. Also Lurgan Road starting at church of Ireland and go towards banville is very good

Cannot believe both of you are mentioning Loughbrickland and Tandragee. My Father is from precisely these parts and his parents/my grandparents are buried in Scarva.

Atb with your running.👏👏

Distance. Wasn't quite 5k

I take it you’ve yet to go and just run a mile (you’d be bloody fast I think) or just run with no target other than to smile. All you gotta do is enjoy it and come back for more... and then follow a plan again when you’re ready.

This was new to me so I just wanted to test it out to see my distances.

Pace was quick, experience was good, now if you were in a 5000m race and stopped to celebrate 100m after the bell you’d lose, but today you won... 300m doesn’t take away from the victory of running somewhere beautiful!
