After over 2 months since my last run I am so pleased today I finally managed to get out there again. My sole aim was for 30 mins and no checking pace etc.

I had convinced myself I wouldn’t be able to do 5 mins let alone 30. It was super slow but who cares - I’m concentrating on keeping the ‘don’t go/you can’t do it’ gremlins in my head at bay. 🙂

Lovely photo- & good for you! 😄

The running is obviously calling to you louder than the gremlins! Sounds like time to enjoy some good podcasts as a distraction! 😄

Thanks. Yes agree podcasts can be a great distraction. I have downloaded a few before Xmas. It’s the deciding what might work for each run dependant on how I’m feeling- comedy, book reviews, current affairs- so many to choose from!

Absolutely! I make the music or spoken word choice before every run. I like quite a few of the radio 4 podcasts- Desert Island Discs & The Food Program being two of my favourites! 😄

Happy running!

Well done on getting back out there, I'm sure that's the challenge after not going for a while.

And 30 minutes sounds like a win to me after 2 months out of the game 👍🙂

well done starting your running again, you did really well to do as much as that after 2 months👍💪

I also started up running today after 2 month break when life events meant I had to stop, only did 15 mins but just pleased to be back 😊
