Having decided to put the graduation run back a day so that we could run in the light for once (sure i've seen that big orange thing in the sky before at some point), we set off.
The run was easily the hardest i've done in the entire program, but powered sheerly by bloodymindedness, we got through. Weirdly, looking at the stats, it was also the fastest yet at 4.37k, and most consistently paced. The takeaway i guess is that a hangover, bacon and egg barm, and a cig before hand is probably not the best prep for running π
I've had loads of fun doing this program, i've lost about eight pounds, and i'm feeling a lot better. I've also been blown away by the amount of help and support available on this forum, completely for free and given away just out of the goodness of people's hearts. Thanks all!
Right, i'm off for a nice hot shower and a brew. Hope you all have a great day!

Great job. Hangover not so good prep... that butty could have been perfect if not too late before the run... the cig? Well, probably not as bad as smoking it during the run π
Congratulations... great achievement. Celebrate it well, hangover is ok on rest days) and enjoy consolidation and your next running journey.
Thanks! It was a textbook example of what not to do. The route finishes outside a church, and there was a choir outside singing hosana as we came past - all i could think was "Don't throw up next to the nice church people, don't throw up!"
Congratulations Leadfoot on completing and graduating from C25K with week 9 run 3 despite a slight hangover, great pace as well at 4.37K, one of the fastest graduating runs on record here on C25K.
