Well what a way to finish C25K! Not only with a 4K 30 mins run, but to meet TVs own Ted Robbins and participate in a tai chi taster session afterwards at a free activity day at the club/track where I run. I would celebrate as it was the last podcast but the C25K program I'm attending is a 10 week plan and I've still got two full 5Ks to do next week before graduating with them. Thanks to everyone who has given me confidence, advice and kept me injury free by telling me how it is. Now contemplating the follow-up 5K to 10K plan. Is it worth jumping straight onto?

Go you..Huge congratulations and very well done...:)

After Graduation.. consolidation 3 minute runs.. short runs, new routes and different distances..maybe give the C25K+ podcasts, a try.. they teach us a lot about the different disciplines in our running... They are often mis-used and folk do not get the benefit..but they are challenging and great fun too.... then think about our own ju-ju- 's 10K programme.. it is brilliant.. many of us have used it and used it more than once..it really moves you on and is so easy to follow:)

But maybe a tiny celebration before then :) x

PS

Who is Ted Robbins???

Thanks I will definitely have a look at your suggestions. May have a celebratory glass later 😁. Haha Ted's he's been around a while. He's the one who had a heart attack on stage at MEN during Peter Kay's Phoenix Nights run. He's looking really fit and well now 👍 Thanks again

I went straight on to it but only took 2 weeks to get to 10k 😂 You go slow enough, you can go further. I did 6k a few days after graduation (I had done 3 5ks prior to graduation, in run 3 of week 7,8 and 9 at the ParkRun, not 30 minutes though!), then a week later managed 7.4k and another week later went to 10. Trying to consolidate now.

Good luck!
