I am as excited as a dog trying to catch its own tail and ridiculously happy
So many thoughts swirling around my head as I was out that, to be honest, between all the random thoughts about how far I've come and a stonking playlist, that the time passed by pretty quickly.
I will confess to also stretching my run out to 33mins to get the full 5k, there was no way I was going to let myself graduate without it, that was a personal challenge to me.
To anyone just starting out, believe me, you can do it. It really does work. Look at me, ex-smoker, knocking on 50's door, hormones all over the shop and I still managed to succeed. This programme can be life-changing if you want it to be.
So, I'm clearly getting slightly over emotional and it's best I head off and grab a shower, although, not before grabbing my shiny new graduation badge first

Congratulations! Great run to finish on... very nice 5k time there. A tough summer and just look at you now! Celebrate like crazy and enjoy the next adventure
Elated yes, glamorous no, LOL!! I wouldn't be using that pic if I was on a dating forum, but 'us' runners know what running and sweat really look like, don't we?
Congratulations, amazing feeling isn’t it. I did my 1st post graduation Run this morning and only managed 4.6k in 30 mins. I need to get up to running 5k and forgetting the time for now. Well done 😀
Big congratulations. I graduated last Monday in the same way. Except my 5k took 36 mins. However, I can give you 10 years. Just proves almost anyone can do it. Determination, commitment, consistency and a positive attitude towards improving your health.
