I've done it, I got up early and drove to the park run in swindon. Watched about 300people of all ages, shapes and sizes chat, line up and run or walk 5km.
It was my first run including a fair incline but I did it all. 5km in 37.30 ish (times yet to be published) without walking.
I feel sooo pleased with myself. There were times I felt thoroughly knackered but I plodded on.
As many have said before, this blog has been a source of great information and encouragement. Thank you everyone.
I plan a week of consolidating my 5km runs then onto B210k.
Have a good weekend everyone, I'm off out for a big lunch and even a wee tipple to treat myself.

Congratulations on your successful Graduation run at Parkrun!
Sounds like an excellent time too, I am waiting for my results (keep checking as I am impatient!) as I hope I've improved my time since my first attempt!
Brilliant, awesome news and achievement! Terrific time too... you are AMAZING! Have several tipples and a glorious weekend... then onwards an upwards.. the next challenge awaits. Welcome to the grad club ... All the best, Linda x
Thanks everyone for your lovely comments. Official time was 35.56!
I am shocked and chuffed and also a bit worried that I'll never beat it lol.
I totally recommend the park runs. It was a positive and friendly place to run, I had planned (all being well) to graduate at a park run and found the change in scenery and running with others fun. Give it a go peeps
