Well I’ve only gone and completed the third run for week 9! Amazed that I have completed the program. A little disappointed as I’m still 0.5km short of hitting 5km but so super chuffed that I’m running for a full 30minutes. Thanks to everyone involved in this program and for all the feedback received.
Guess this only means one thing, on to 10k next!

Congratulations Khobarrunner on graduating 🎓 and completing week 9 run 3 of C25K, don't worry about not getting to 5k in 30 minutes, excellent that you ran 🏃 in that time.

Congratulations. That 4.5k pace translates to 33:20 5k pace... I don’t know anyone here who’d be disappointed with that time! I graduated and then did the 5k, like the vast majority here, and actually try to run slower than that on 90% of my runs, the other day I crossed the 5k mark in 36:30 and was very pleased with that. Enjoy celebrating, consolidate where you are, bag the 5k and then enjoy that journey to 10k
Well done. Isn’t it an amazing feeling? I also graduated this week and have already done two 5k runs this week. I have never felt so good. Having never exercised before in my 59 years I am eating healthy running (and loving it) I am 2 and half stone lighter. Keep going, I aim to
I had been walking most days this year in a bid to become more active and lose weight. I started doing C25K to challenge myself a bit more instead of just walking all the time. I’ve lost 27kg by walking and running on alternate days, usually twice a day. Got another 10kg to go to hit my target.
Will be continuing with the walking and running while trying to increase the distance I cover while running.
