The virus won’t help... your body is fighting it and that uses energy... so it would be normal for the run to be harder.
Well done getting the job done under those circumstances... there’s the proof that you’re not a quitter right there. Maybe an extra rest day will help, when the symptoms go your immune system is still fighting it.
If I am not feeling well, then I just don't bother running.
I have learned that my body needs to be working well for a run to feel enjoyable. There is no point making things difficult for yourself.........get well and it will be a whole different ball game.
I did W2R1 this morning ... I was running in a new place .. I found a duck pond and liked it so much ( peaceful pretty and soft underfoot) I ran round it 3 times as part of my run!
I struggled with last the 90 second bursts but kind of kept going ... ...
You are doing brilliant - keep going , as Van Morrison says there will be days like this ! ♥️
