Was partially dreading this as the first longish run especially as after w2r3 I pulled a muscle in my calf and came down with a cold which took me out for two weeks. I eased my self back by doing w1 run then two w2 to get back in.

Was surprised I only had 4 runs though so after the 4th I felt I could have gone on so that’s encouraging! Good tip about keeping your head still so I’ll work on that Thursday.

Well done for easing back in after injury and illness. Can be difficult to get going again. Keep it slow and steady, you're doing great

I had a calf strain 2 weeks ago and did exercises every day. Had over a week off but completed wk8 r3 on monday and wk9 r1 this a.m.

You are either going too fast or may be prone to calf strains(?).

Check out the internet, there are some good exrrcises you can do.
