So I was expecting this run to be tough - partly because it’s one that seems to catch people out - but mainly due to the 3 lovely G&Ts I enjoyed with my sisters via Zoom last night. I felt I almost deserved it to be a bit of a slog as I certainly hadn’t put in the right preparation!! Although having said that I’m seeing more of my sisters at home in Ireland more than I normally do - there are some silver linings.
Anyhow the first 5mins of running were a bit testing but then I seemed to get a rhythm going in the middle 8mins run and finished reasonably strong. Including the 5min walks at each end that was the first time, this time round, that I did 4K.
It does feel a little odd to be back to run-walk-run after the last 20min run but I trust the programme and assume there is a good reason.
Happy Easter everyone 🐣 🏃♀️

Well done - clearly no ill-effects from the G&T's then! 😉
These next two runs prepare you for that 25 minutes of solid running in run 3.... and then you're away! As you say, trust in the program - and believe in yourself! 😀👍
Well done - you are preparing well for Run 3! By the end of this week you will be running non stop through to graduation. You now know you can do it and that shiny badge is getting ever closer!!!! Enjoy.
