First run completed!

I was a little nervous as I have asthma and this time of year is when it flares up! The running part was ok it was the breathing I had trouble with! Though after the fifth run Iwas getting my breath back quicker. Looking forward to my second run on Wednesday.

Welcome,

Great job completing run one, it’s the hardest one to get through. Slow down if you’re out of breath, as long as you are running it’s fast enough. Also if this time of year is the worst for your asthma maybe it’s the colder air that triggers it, in which case you may benefit from using a running buff... cheap ones are as good as the brand names.

Enjoy the rest of your journey.

It’s a neck warmer that can be worn in many ways, from headband and beanie to balaclava and face mask. The face mask use means the air you breathe in would be warmer and more humid I guess. I haven’t as yet worn one myself but some people love them.

That’s brilliant! Well done! The first one is always hard but I’ve found having set days for my runs helps. Good luck with the next one
