#Couchto5k Week 6 Run 2 COMPLETE

What a difference being properly fuelled makes! And the sore right knee survived. Hopefully more foam rolling will help.

It consisted of:

- 5min brisk walk warm up

- 10min run

- 3min brisk walk

- 10min run

- 15min brisk walk warm down

Is the pace 8’41” OK for an absolute beginner? I presume I works it over the run sections of the session.

Enjoyed that one. The new lights helped LOADS. Strapped around my chest is a much better plan than them bobbing up and down on my head.

thanks cheeky chops. have already mapped out this evening's Week6Run3 tonight using gb.mapometer.com - tells how much of gradient parts of your course will be.. most of mine, thankfully, is done hill. #bekindtoyourself. Will let you know how i get on. if you're on instagram add me - i report on all my runs on there - instagram.com/chrisdemetriouuk

Great job. Your pace is your pace, if it’s uncomfortable it’s bad, if it’s comfortable it’s good. Your tracker probably averaged out the pace over the whole workout.

Enjoy your next one.

Well done! Each and every pace is good! We are all different in so many ways, that it is impossible to compare. You will be able to compare it with your future numbers ;) or your past, if you have some.

Good to hear that your knee is good :)

Always going to run familiar route but do 2 laps of it as that is 5k with varied gradient so not cheating and just going downhill.
