Up then set my watch to complete my 25 mins run. I took it steady and when I realise I was due to to start my warm down, I only had 0.7 km to go so sped up and finished off the 5k. Super pleased. Here comes the dilemma..... I’m due to do a 10k on Oct 8th and now I’m
Confused what to do, stick with the next run? Or increase the time/distance somthat 10k is possible by then.
Any help would be good. Thanks all.

I’d stick with the programme. 10k is doubling your distance... you need all the strength in your legs as you can get, skipping 9 runs and going for more distance now may see you not get to that start line at all. I’d rather run 7 and walk 3 than be sat at home nursing an injury if it was me.
Also, if you maintain that pace through this, you’ll be above 5k and the 10% rule could still get you very close to 10
Well done, but keeping your progress slow and steady is the safest way forward.
I normally send this link to the guide to post C25K running to graduates, but I think you need to understand where you actually are in your running career healthunlocked.com/couchto5...
Use the remainder of the programme as consolidation, without pushing too far too soon.
