I wouldn’t have believed this just over a month ago. Just completed first run of week 5! It was raining this morning and wore my glasses for the first time. They did get steamed up a couple of times. 😂 A good run but was a bit slower than the runs last week. Took it nice and slow as advised and could manage all three 5 minute runs. Im so pleased that I have sorted my breathing which has stopped me running all these years. Bit nervous about W5R2 but I’ll give it my best shot 🏃💪🏻😀

No need for nerves...you are doing brilliantly.

You just do what you are doing.. relax and let the legs begin to take you :)

Yay! Well done TJ! 👏👏👏 You are progressing nicely.

Honestly, don't be nervous about any of the upcoming runs. Your body is being prepared for these. You just need to work on your mind. Distraction techniques are good - i.e. Try a different route or different music/podcast and also, just believe you can do it! Start each run with optimism and faith in yourself. 😀 You CAN do this because you ARE doing this, right?

Lovely when the breathing comes together, isn't it?

Thankyou Sadie. Yes, I have to give myself a positive talk in the warm up every time and it’s worked so far. Thank you for the encouragement. You’re right. I am doing this 😊

Well done TJ - Your doing awesome! Like you, i had a bit of nerves before each run, you would think that they would eventually wear off when you manage to complete it all the time! Keep going, your doing great!

Thank you. I’m so pleased with myself 😊

Well done TJMazz on completing it, that's my next run so it's good to know you've managed it. I have just had exactly the same experience with my glasses and I currently look like a drowned poodle....probably smell a bit like one too 😂
