Thank you. It was ok actually. Better than I thought, although I might not feel that way tomorrow 😂.

I always think that someone in your position has made 2 big decisions and achieved something great already. Your decisions are to start running and to join this forum and post on it, and your achievement is to get out there and run. Stick with the programme and you won't believe the difference it makes to your life in so many ways, and stick with this forum, it is the most positive and supportive environment you could hope for, find a buddy that is at the same stage as you, sounds like Liz5K might be someone to hook up with, find a role model to aspire to, few better in my opinion than Fabulous450 and always listen to the admin they are the most wonderful group you could imagine, enjoy your journey and keep us posted!

I totally agree with Berksrover!! Except there’s nothing special about me! 😳 (but huge thanks!😍).

I have found this to be one of the best things I have done for myself in my whole life. 🤩 It’s one of those things that you really don’t know (and often don’t think🙁) you can possibly do, but just being willing to say “let’s try” to yourself and keep going out there and you will amaze yourself. I am a very happy runner! I’m not the youngest, not the fastest, not looking at doing any half marathons either at the moment 😂, but boy am I having fun???!! 😁😁😍 It’s been 5 months of an amazing discovery, from a young girl who always said, “Me....run...really? I’d laugh at the audacity of the suggestion and feel tired just thinking bout it. To “I’m a runner”! I’m still having a huge amount of fun running MY way for ME!! Every run is something to celebrate, no matter how long or short that may be and that certainly does feel good!! Enjoy the journey and have fun!!!

In fact, I think I’m going to go out now!! 😍😍❤️
