You can do it!!!

I found run 2 easier than run one... and a very wise one on here points out that run 3 is actually a shorter workout when you add the brisk walking onto the intervals of run 2.

It’s a leap of faith, relax, believe, then slow and steady. 3 is my run for today... W6R1 is more intimidating to be honest.

The prospect of getting to 30 minutes from nowhere on your 25th run... that was scary once... after today I’m 2/3 of the way there... there’s no fear left in me. I’m looking forward to ditching the intervals and doing what the last 5 weeks (7 with injury breaks) has been all about... just running. Today is my first one of those and I’m going to love it. Not looking forward to intervals again Monday, but they’ll soon be gone.

You will..we all do..just another run that you ready for... It is different..all the runs are..but..slow and steady..is all you need...if you look at the breakdown of the run..you will see how it falls into place ..

Check the past post out from IannodaTruffe ..Negativity..Positivity..

You will be just fine.

W5R1 you run for 15 minutes, brisk walk for 6, total 21 minutes.

W5R2 you run for 16 minutes, brisk walk for 5, total 21 minutes.

W5R3 you run for 20 minutes.

Unless your brisk walking expends no energy at all, there are no big jumps in W5, just a natural progression, that is proven to work.

This is when you have to begin to believe in yourself.

You can do it.

Maybe you need to slow your running pace.

It doesn't matter if you can walk faster.

Oh yes you can! Your body is being prepared for that very moment, just you wait and see. 💪 Just remember to keep nice and slow and you’ll nail those two runs no problem. 😀

You can and will be able to do it!

You've got this far on the wonderful C25k program so have faith that it has prepared you for run 3.

Remember ... slow and steady is the way to go.

Well done for what you've achieved so far, keep up the good work!

You CAN do it! Good luck and happy running!

I felt same..and I did get there by going incredibly slowly..probably slower than my normal walking pace...the other tip I would give is when attempting first ever 20mins start really really slow and only speed up ..if you are able to..in last 60 secs. From memory I know I repeated weeks if I felt not ready. I also broke the 20 mins up by timing four 5 minute sections..I didn't stop running but mentally I was telling myself only five minutes in my head..four times. That helped me. Honestly I was a 57 year old non runner..and I got to 28 mins...

I haven't graduated as currently hampered by back problem..MRI next week and have finally had to obey doctorcwho has told me not to run...so very sadly at moment I'm back on the couch.

Don't give up..you will amaze yourself..I did.🏃🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️🏃and I'm really hoping to start gain in future.
