I did a lot of talking about doing the C25K before actually getting off the couch but finally started a few weeks ago. At the end of each week when I looked at what the next runs entailed I would wonder how I could ever do it but would be so pleased with myself when I did and then week 5 and I saw the 20 mins non stop run, it seemed impossible. I repeated run 2 three times so that I could give it a go at the weekend rather than after work. And today was D Day. I followed the advice on this site and slowed down and from the moment Sarah Milican counted me down to start the run I just knew I was going to do it and I did.
I can’t tell you how amazing it feels! I’m definitely off the couch!

That’s my favourite run of the whole programme-congratulations on completing it! Week 6 is a funny one so just watch out for starting too fast after the high of week 5. I had a bit of a crash and burn-that’s common!! Take it steady and you’ll be fine. Good luck!
Well done peroxidepixie! Like you I was surprised by the 20 mins run in W5 but (unlike you) I never looked ahead at the planned runs so it was a real shocker! I actually found myself thinking 'Laura, you b*tch!' until the end of the run, when I realised that I could do it, and Laura had a reason 🙂. C25K is such a good plan!
