Today I started Week 7. Had completed 25mins run on Thursday. Today I had to stop and take a break as I couldn’t get my breathing right. Felt disappointed as I was running alongside my sister.

Is your sister a runner? Did you maybe go off a little faster than your normal pace? It’s easy to run above your pace if you’re used to running alone. Maybe it was just a one of those days things. Whatever reason it sucked today, it will be better next time. We have to deal with defeat, but never be defeated. You’ve done 6 weeks of a tough plan. Keep your chin up and go again. If it’s a mental block there’s some guided runs that will help on Nike Run Club, running with headspace and SUCKcess. The app is compatible with C25K and you’re running long enough to match them to the programme.

I felt a bit like that on W7R1 but did R2 today and it was much better. My calves ache but we have come so far. Keep at it x
