Week 7, Run 1

Hi guys,

Well had my days rest and back to my run today for the start of week 7 ! Could not wait as back to the beach for 2 days and was desperate to run up and down it - was my ' Chariots of Fire ' moment as Laura told me to just 1 minute to go and I upped the pace!! - I started to laugh as I could picture Mr Bean at the 2012 Olympic opening ceremony and started laughing !

I loved the run, it was fantastic - nice steady pace, breeze in my face, beach empty like behind, sun shining - just PERFECT!!!!!!!

haha ! we have a holiday home in Brean - we are on the beach front. This photo was taken from my wife from next to the living room window. Its the best place ever - we love it here in Somerset.

I was actually in Leeds for a night out not so long back. It was decent. Stayed in some nunnery 😂

I lived nearly a year on Shetland back in the mid 1990s. Everything is South from there. 🤣

Don’t pity me! I’m at the foot of the moors, by the river and the coast. Loads of places to run. I love it! Check out some of my posts to see my local area!

I wish I lived closer to the beach. The nearest easily accessible one which I could run on for up to 5km is about an hour's drive away. (Formby)

Brean - right next to Weston!.....we are on the beach front. Writing this now with the beach breeze coming through the window...we LOVE it here.

Yeah - Burnham, just 5 mins from here. We love it here. Beach has been empty all day and feels like its our own private beach!
