I've been wanting to do this for a couple of years or more and always put it off.
Finally started W1R1 this evening and realised just how out of shape I was. I managed 3 of the 60 second runs before winding down and heading for a bus stop.
I'd feel like a failure, but this is the most I've run since I left school 20 years ago so I'm calling it a win.
Guess I'll have another go in a day or two.

Failures don’t cross the start line. Well done, 20 years of no running and you did three runs. Chalk it up as a practice session. Go slower, as slow as you can next time out. You can do it... it’s not easy, but it’s worth the effort!
Got out again at lunchtime today, before work. This time I managed 6 of the 8 minutes of running, so definitely an improvement. Hopefully on Tuesday I can get to the end of the session 😊
