I've been trying to loose weight for a long time but sadly nothing has really worked so I thought why not give this a try because my brother told me that loads of people where trying it so I did. I have just done the first run of week one. I feel BRILLIANT and I actually enjoyed it!!😊I hate running and exercise so I don't do it that often, even if I know I should but I really think this could help me to loose weight because the app tells me what to do so I can't go wrong😊
Just started : I've been trying to loose weight... - Couch to 5K

It's addictive! I was the same. Knew I needed to do something but it was easier just to sit in front of the TV. Now, I don't want to sit in front of the TV!!!!!
Good for you take it slow like me and I'm sure you will go great guns 🏃
Welcome aboard, stick to the programme, do what Oldfloss keeps telling me (Slow then slower still). Enjoying it so soon is a huge bonus, it's taken me weeks and weeks to get to enjoying it, but I do now! As for the weight loss, I set out a year or so ago to lose weight and get fitter. Done pretty well at 2 stone + reduction over a year, still further to go but that's OK & I'm cool with that. I used Myfitnesspal to track everything I eat, to help me on nutrition. I've bit-by-bit changed all my eating habits. I could never have stuck to a diet - try Myfitnesspal alongside your C25K and fall totally in love with both programmes (& the new you xx). By the way, this is the best forum on the Internet and is what has kept me motivated. Getting out of the door for that first run is the hardest part & I thought VERY scary. WELL DONE.
Hello! I'm in a similar boat. I've been trying to get into a good routine with exercise for a couple of years or so and never quite managed it. I even did Week 1 Run 1 over a month ago and then stopped. This week I started again and I've just done my third run. I didn't expect to enjoy it either but I really did! I nearly put it off until tomorrow - I settled down to watch TV and then thought NO, got changed and went for it. Completing Week 1 is a small achievement but I'm still feeling quite proud of myself. I think having the app to tell me what to do and when will help me out too.
Good luck! 🍀 We can do this. 🙂
Whatever you do, don't give up now you've started. I'm on my FOURTH attempt to finish this C25K programme, having previously got to (mostly mental not physical) barriers and still each time re-starting. Most of my Gremlins have died now, so my mind is co-operating now and I've got to Week 8 this time: I now KNOW that I can get to the end this time. YES YOU CAN DO IT - believe me if I can then so can you.
