Hey guys I've just started the C25k programme. Infact I completed day 2 of week 1 yesterday. I've started the programme as part of a workout routine to loose some weight as I'm currently obese. I found it hard to actually start and I put it off for ages, but now that I've actually started I feel amazing. Can't wait to carry on. Wish me luck.

Yay!!!! Brilliant. Go you. I'm still obese but less so now, finished the programme a few weeks ago and still enjoying a run a few times a week keep us posted on your progress.
Good luck and welcome!
Well done the song on week one the greatest day is so true its amazing that we get out there and get started. I have just graduated still a long way from a healthy BMi but feel so much healthier.
Good luck and stick with it at your pace and you will get there.
Thanks for the positive comments everyone. I will keep people posted. 😀
Well done, you!
Well done, that's great! I'm new too
good luck. it's brilliant
Well done on doing something positive for yourself!! You've come to the right place too - these people are fantastic & will help keep you motivated, be encouraging & give you tips & advice!! Always keep in mind, you're doing this for you! Good luck & (you'll hear this loads) keep it slow & steady - be the tortoise, not the hare!!
Good luck. Without a doubt the hardest part is just getting started. The second hardest part if surviving week one! I thought it was really difficult, but that's because I was sooo unfit. Amazingly it really does get easier and I am now at the point where I'm itching to get out again and feeling very fedup because I'm poorly at the moment and stuck indoors for a bit. Hoping to be fighting fit again by the end of the week and ready to put on my running shoes. You'll find, as I have done, a really friendly and supportive community here.
Thanks for the encouragement
