Oh my god. I did it without stopping but I sounded and looked like a steam train at the end. Just need to sort the breathing out. Any tips please will be gratefully received. So determined to get to the end of week 9 and still be alive.

Best tip is to stop thinking about the breathing... you manage to breathe all day every day without considering it for a second. You should be whacked after a first run on a step up... that’s the push to the next one. Slow if you really can’t cope, then slow some more... it will work itself out.

Thanks. I'm ok after the run. It takes me 15 or so minutes to recover and chest not tight. I will be give it a go about not thinking about my breathing whilst running.

Recovery time will lower with more miles on your running clock. Not tightening is good, all is well. Use music, use talking out loud, use what you can find to keep your mind if breathing and “how long to go”.

Yes.. slow down and just breathe..like you do every second of the day... :) Over thinking can be disastrous... so.. just relax and take it gently!

Yes we did. I am so pleased as I've said before me and running never went hand in hand before. I was always a swimmer.
