Feeling quite proud...

At the age of 40 I have never been able to run. I love cycling and swimming but just couldn’t ever run. Tired 2 in my life and hated it both times.

A couple of things happened and I heard about this program. Omg I cannot believe how well it works! On week one I only just managed. At the end of the last run I was thinking.., it can’t run anymore... I have to stop.. then I heard the magic words. Well done. You’ve done it. Each week has pushed me just the right amount and I now love running! I so look forward to my run, think about which route to take, I even run on holiday. Today I Am week 6 and I noticed I did travel 5k, ok this included my walk section but hey I can run for 20 mins and travel 5k. I even got a record speed on strava!

So thank you c25k. I can’t wait till my next run. Then doing my first park run. This programme really is amazing and I will recommend it to any one who will listen.

Ha ha, I must admit I have looked. Although my brains just making ideas my body can’t keep up with... I can’t run for longer at 20 mins yet. Lol.

Hehe... I did spy a triathlete!!

For sure not next week... but there’s no reason you can’t have it as a target, especially loving the other two elements already.

👏👏👏 it’s brilliant isn’t it? I’ve been bitten by the bug too, having never understood it before, in spite of a couple of one-off attempts, and hated running in school. 🤞🏻 not long until graduation.
