Feeling proud

I have just done run one of week 7. I found it Ok and even managed to up my pace for the last 60 seconds. I run on a treadmill as my joints are not that good, but I don't think there are too many 58 year old grandma's out there who can manage 25 minutes running. I am so proud of myself but would not have been able to do it without the C25K. I cannot wait to graduate, hopefully before our 40th wedding anniversary in April.

  • You should feel rightfully proud. It's nothing to do with age and everything to do with attitude and desire. Well done you!

  • Like you, I'm on wk 7 and doing c25k indoors - suits me and you're right it's all a real boost, isn't it? We'll be graduates very soon now. I'm so impressed by everything C25K , it really works. Sincere thanks to all who post such positive and helpful messages

  • Like you, I am on week 7 and run indoors on my treadmill, and upped the pace for the last 60 seconds. It was so weird reading your post as I thought that is me, only difference is you have 10 years on me. So I take my hat off to you and look forward to hearing that you graduate before that anniversary as you deserve it x
