Can’t believe I graduated on Friday 17th Aug however wanted to reach 5k so another run for 40 minutes last night achieving 3.26miles. Just so happy to say I’ve ran 5k as I’ve never been a runner. Sadly due to surgery, I won’t be able to run for 3months but a least I can say I completed.
I take it I will be back to square one in three months time, any advice would be great?

3 months off shouldn’t be too catastrophic, but if you can’t run it might be worth speaking to your surgeon about what you can do to maintain some fitness during your recovery. Best of luck, and congrats again 😀👍🏃♀️👏
