What does this mean I can now run for 30min, I can’t run 5k but tonight for the first time I did 5.07k in 43min, that was done by doing 5min warm up walk 33min run and 5min warm down walk!
Some people will think this is easy but for me this has been a real challenge, I have never really been sporty and had to learn how to run. I will not be running marathons so don’t panic but one day I hope to be able to run a whole 5k.

Congratulations Neverranbefore for completing C25K with week 9 run 3. To get your graduation badge and the word GRADUATE🎓 next to your username leave a message on the November graduate 🎓post in the pinned posts on the right side of the healthunlocked C25K home page and tell the administrators that you have ran W9R3 of C25K 🎓 😊🎓
I don’t know anyone who found this easy... I know a handful of people who did 5k in 30 minutes, I know many who didn’t. The 5k will come, don’t worry about it.
Of course you’ll be able to run 5k in time, no rush though. Consolidate your 30 minute runs 3 times per week for a while, then gradually start increasing your distance if you like. You’ll get there! 😀
Is there a parkrun near you? Definitely worth joining if there is. You can walk, jog, run - up to you!
