Canβt believe Iβm a RUNNER now!! I actually completed W9R3 two weeks ago, then seemed to struggle on the first run after this and felt useless, like I had just judged myself all along. But I did go and try again and again to run 30 minutes instead of giving up and just walking half the route, and itβs paying off.........finally!! Iβve set myself a new goal to run three times a week now and try to fit in two weights sessions at the gym. Although I can run 30 minutes I still canβt reach 5k in this time, the furthest I get is 4.7k!! Frustrating!! And this includes the 5min warm up walk too π€¦πΌββοΈπ€¦πΌββοΈπ€¦πΌββοΈ so thereβs still a long way to go for me to hit a full 5k running in 30 mins!! As you can see I AM OBSSESSED!! I did run 5k on Wednesday but it took me about 36 minutes and was on the treadmill (to avoid being blown off the face of the earth by strong winds) - one day Iβll be a real runner and do 5k on my trail run!!! Sorry I havenβt been in here for ages, I really have had a bit of a love/hate relationship with this running business throughout the programme, but itβs finally working for me, so never give up after having a bad day guys and girls, I never thought Iβd run again after a rare kind of heart attack on the treadmill two years ago, but I CAN πππππ»ππ»ππ» thanks to C25K and you brilliant bunch!!!
GRADUATED!!! ππππ: Canβt believe Iβm a... - Couch to 5K
GRADUATED!!! ππππ
Well done! That's brilliant! But please don't worry about the not running 5k in 30 mins! You are running, that's what's important. I'll never run 5k in 30 mins, my fastest months after graduation is just under 37 mins! And I can't go much faster!
Fantastic Honeybee, well done! ππππ
And of course you are a runner. A real one. Your 5k time on the treadmill is better than mine too, and I graduated last August!
Youβve done amazingly and will continue to do so. π
Congratulations! That 5k will come, no worries there. Celebrate well and enjoy your future running adventures
Congratulations, you graduated two weeks ago and the word GRADUATE is still not next to your username, so it should be there soon if you tell the administrators that you have ran W9R3 of C25K and graduated, go to the March graduate post in the pinned posts on the right side of the healthunlocked C25K home page, if you do that the word GRADUATE will soon appear.
Many congratulations on your graduation fellow runner.
