Graduated C25K

Well last week I graduated the C25K programme well chuffed and very happy. Promptly went on family get away weekend camping. So last Wednesday finished and went for a run Monday night. A new PB for 5k 29m 32s. Was my first run without setting Michael Johnson to talk me through and the constant reminder of there's 5mins up your halfway through or well done 😁. Felt really weird only having map my run telling me my 1km splits.

Is there anything else people use for the next step or do people suck it and see/go for it?

Also what running tech do people use?

Well done! You must feel great. I’m nearly there so will be interested to see what people say. My husband had a Garmin watch so uses this to track progress and also linked to Strava

Meant to say. I use a gear fit 2 watch and track with the health fitness app. I sometimes set pace or distance and it really helps.

I did struggle the first few weeks after I graduated as I missed Sarah Milligan’s encouragement. You get used to it I promise. You find your own motivation-mine is park run when I can get there. I don’t even listen to music anymore. Best of luck

Congratulations.

I know a few runners who even turn that split update off. They’re stats mad, but only look after it’s done and they’re back home.

I use Nike to log as that’s where I’ll be heading back to at some point, and because I like their workout and yoga app.
