Easter sunday and just got back from my w9r3 30min jog so I am done! I have been struggling with 30mins so my next step is going to be repeating weeks 7,8 and 9 and then I'll graduate again! For some reason 25mins feels a lot more managble than 30, I think I start getting tired at about 20mins so another 5 is okay but 10 is a struggle.
I have taken a while (5 rather than the recommended 3 weeks) over these last few jogs, going away and having people over has got in the way, but I went to the The outer Hebridies with 3 of my friends last we week and we all four went for a jog in the snow around a beautiful loch! It was great, 1 girl on week one, 1 one week 3 and me and a seasoned jogger doing 25mins all running at different paces and having a giggle - made us feel much better about how much breakfast we ate after. Couch to 5k is amazing and I am so glad I have been able to pass it on to a couple of people.
I have been finding the last few weeks really tough, the long runs combined with not quite managing 3 runs a week has taken a toll on my motivation. So for anybody else at this stage I would recommened really focusing on getting the 3 runs a week in. You can always bring the time down and build back up if your finding it hard. I am really looking forward to doing a couple of 25min runs now.
Can't believe I can run for 30mins straight! The beauty of C25K is that you go from not being able to run at all to being ablt to run for 30mins in so little time, it makes you aware that you can do anything with a bit or perseverence and focus.
Good luck my friends! And thanks for the support the whole way through!
