I know everyone probably thinks this but as I hadn't run for 40 years I seriously doubted I would manage it. Thank you to all of you who encouraged me at the beginning - it does work and I did manage it... you were right. Feeling proud but also a little lost in what to do next. I am going running this am and think I'll just run and see how far is comfortable . I found the 30 mins too tough on my knees so will prob reduce to 20 mins or so and try to
Improve fitness and speed. What do people use? Nike Run or ? Would welcome any guidance. Thank you all πand good luck!

We always recommend consolidation straight after you finish C25K. Try to maintain the 30 minutes three times per week for a few weeks, but don't worry about pace, just run for fun and without any pressure. Try running somewhere beautiful and inspiring, exploiting your newly won ability.
The recommendation is that you do 150 minutes per week of exercise that raises your heart rate. Of course it doesn't all have to be running.
Oh really? I found the 30 mins so hard just done 23 mins , my first post grad run but it was in driving rain and nowhere special. Maybe I'll try a nice location run and the time will pass more quickly. Thanks for advice.
Fantastic achievement! Just keep running; you can use the last week to keep you on track ( I still sometimes still use it just to hear Mr Smooth's voice! ). Running for 30 mins will get easier- you just need practice and make sure you keep it slow and steady. Good luckππ½ββοΈππ
Yes maybe I shd use week 9 again. Just did 23 mins but it was driving rain so not the easiest but I thought if I didn't go I might never run as it's been 4 days since graduation. Too long ! Thanks for advice
Consolidation and then more consolidation...then different routes and different times... plenty of 30 minutes and some shorter... then some, see where I get to runs
Maybe then, try the C25K+ podcasts... challenging but fun
