Graduation day and park run!

Can’t believe I’m a graduate! Couldn’t run for more than 1 minute when I started but I managed to get round my local park run in 36min 27secs this morning 😃 I’m excited to see what the next challenge brings! Not sure whether to keep completing 30min runs and increase my speed or do I try the bridge to 10k app?

Congratulations... you may need to requisition a new name 😂

Bridge to 10k would most probably make you faster over 5k, as would consolidating. There are other ways too. It depends what you want to do. If you wanna be fast over 5k, look at 5k race plans... if you want to go 10k, half or marathon, bridge is the way to go next for most people.

Yay! Well done! That's a good time for parkrun too. Increasing distance will improve your 5k times, so going for 10k gives you the best of both worlds. Congratulations! Don't forget to pick up your graduate badge here: healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

Loads of consolidation of 30 minute runs and then maybe different routes and distances.. try the C25K+ podcasts too after a couple of weeks..they are challenging and fun... and teach s an awful lot about the different disciplines in our running... a few folk try them too soon and miss the point of them as they are quite different:)
